Southeast Asia being target market of automotive products
Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, is a fertile market for car sales, not to mention Honda Motor Co. Ltd. Japanese car manufacturer, recorded a sales increase of 252 percent in Southeast Asia and the Pacific region compared to the same period last year. The whole market in Southeast Asia and the Pacific region posted strong sales growth, with an increase in the growth rate reaches two or even three digits. Indeed, southeast Asia region is the most fertile place for this Japanese automaker expects to sell them, because the consumer from southeast Asia, including Indonesia are the biggest consumers for their products.
Toyota and Honda continue to present products in Indonesia
The sole agent of Honda four-wheel vehicles in Indonesia, Honda Motor Co. is targeting total sales of 175,000 units of cars in Indonesia throughout 2015. Also the case with Toyota, the Toyota brand is already so embedded in the hearts of Indonesian society. Not only in Indonesia, in the region of Southeast Asia such as Thailand any Toyota product is in demand, so do not be surprised if we say Toyota is almost like a national brand car manufacturers in both countries. The presence of New Honda BR-V and other latest models in the SUV segment, BR-V, will became one of the basic optimism Honda achieving targets.
