Hello all,

I joined because I am looking at purchasing a 2009-2011 Civic or Accord. I'm looking for a smaller commuter car and I am slowly being convinced that a Honda is the way to go. So if anyone wants to help here is my question. What maintenance or mechanical issues should I look out for if the vehicle has ~90,000? Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

wecome to the forum. Timing belt if it has it, wheel alighnment, factory recalls, power window controls if installed, all lights functional interior included, transmission condition, compression check. Have a good mech check it out unless it is a dealership purchase.

if your looking for a good small commuter car i would recommend a honda fit there fun little cars. you can find them cheap now since they fail the new highway safety commissions small overlap crash test which is really nothing to be concern about most new cars fail this test.
