welcome to the forum. I don't think you heard this from Honda. Honda says why not, the turbo is on at all times.

when your running a turbo it always is in boost when the the foots on the gas pedal you dont manually put it in boost unless you have a manual boost controller coming from your waste gate which you probably dont since you dont even know how a turbo works in the first place

your a retard..... your car is not in boost from the time your start the motor, your motor pushes out exhaust gas, when those exhaust gasses increase you begin to spool the turbine, thus creating boost. a manual boost controller has nothing to do with whether or not your boosting, it only allows you to control how much boost goes past the wastegate before the wg opens releasing the excess air in the charge piping. ive driven boosted cars before just never in a honda, an acquaintance of mine who drives nothing but hondas mentioned it to me and this being my first honda it was a question that struck me as odd. so go do some research before you attempt to school someone. read the posted links, they might better help you understand how anything mechanical works.

enjoy, i expect a 1000 word essay on how it works, points will be deducted for incoprrect spelling and or grammar.

P.S. Learn to spell and use grammar, its great.

you are completely ignorant and obviously cant read. I said you are always in boost WHEN THE FOOTS ON THE PEDAL moron. And yes a manual boost controller controls how much boost you are actually putting out connected to your waste gate that limits the boost i know because i work on turbos not just read it off some internet website. U can make it put out no boost if you want or max boost depending on the limits of the waste gate or whether or not you have a waste gate or blow off valve. Just because you driven turbo cars doesn't mean you know what your talking about at all. It OBVIOUSLY shows too. Plus if your going to look up everything on the internet to try and "school" someone try to make it not sound so obvious that you acquired your inexperienced knowledge from the internet(Mr. i shouldn't go in boost in six gear) you stupid noob.

P.S. if you were such a guru at motors and turbo-ed motors or even an avid internet researcher on motors you would recognize that someone doesn't know what the hell they are talking about if someone stated something like not going into boost in 6th gear
