Default '13 Odyssey Driver mirror replacement

Hi. I searched this forum and could not find this topic.

I have a 2013 Odyssey that had its driver mirror (unheated) bashed. It seems only the glass is smashed (and still attached to the mirror housing because of all the glue)...I can still adjust it within the car.

1)Honda quoted me $331.48 + tax for a new mirror...am I wrong or is this insane?

2)I called Autozone and they can sell me the glass itself for $39 or the whole mirror (which they claim is black just like Honda's) for $113.99.

Do you think I should bother with the glass for $39 or get the whole mirror from Honda or Autozone? I'm leaning towards a whole mirror because a)there are numerous Youtube videos that show how easy it is to replace, b)it would be my luck there is something wrong with the $39 glass-only solution, c)and it would be my luck that if I only replaced the glass, ultimately something would fail with the mirror and I would end up replacing the entire mirror.

I know it sounds like I've pretty much answered my own question but was looking for some guidance on this topic.

Thanks in advance!
