Question 2001 Honda Odyssey Transmission Question.

I have a 2001 Honda Odyssey. It started giving me some weird symptoms. When the car was cold it would drive fine, when the engine would warm up it would not go into gear just rev up. So I changed the transmission fluid and now when I start the car the RPMS jump to about 4RPM as if I was pushing the gas and won't shift into gear? Can anyone help - what should I do?

welcome to the forum. when you changed your transmission fluid, did you use Honda only fluid or aftermarket trans fluid? if you used after market trans fluid, change back to Honda only fluid and see if that might correct the rev up,

Well oddly enough the rev issue stopped. Now when the car is cold it drives perfect! Once engine heats up to a certain point it has slipped, turn the car off then back on drives perfect, the process has kept repeating. I did change fluid with aftermarket, do you think it would cause this issue of back and forth slipping once car is warm?
