Default 2011 Odyssey Check Engine Light on ECO light off

Just got a 2011 Odyssey with about 177k. The check engine light came on about 3 hours after buying the car. It turned off the next day and I noticed the ECO light was on when in that mode. The check engine light came back on the next day, has been on ever since and the ECO light no longer comes on. What could be causing this??

welcome to the forum. might be a good idea to take the ody to a shop or parts house that can read what code the ody is having, or read the problem to you and what might need to be fixed. we would be guessing what it might be at this time.

Yeah I was thinking about going over to an Advanced Auto or something and having them throw it on the computer to see what codes are coming up. Thanks you. Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

The ECM turned on the CEL.
Best to see what the diagnostic code says before deciding what to do next
