Default Blowby, HELP!!!

Just bought a 1995 Odyssey with 2.2 ltr 4cyl engine. Found substantial blowby at fill cap when engine is running. Is this normal? If not what would be the cause? What is the fix?

substantial blowby at (oil) fill cap when engine running is not normal, the pvc valve may be clogged with carbon, remove and clean or replace it first. If the blow by is still heavy, do a leak down compression check to see if the blow by is coming past the piston rings or thru the valve guides. Also if you have high milage or the person previous to you did do the proper up keep on the engine, this may be the results. the fix is replace engine or overhaul.. Check the pvc valve first for clog or replace it.
