I've got a 2020 Elite with 11K miles. first Oil change light came on at 4200 miles, second time at 8900 and just now at 10900. Shouldn't synthetic oil last much longer than that ? There's no way after 2000 miles it would need to be changed.
Any advice ? I'm assuming something is wrong with the sensor ...

 

welcome to the forum. the oil life light comes on at 15% and stays on to remind you of and oil change. it should go approx 7500 miles before it goes back on again. this is based on my 07 Fit, 16 HR-V, my daughters 17 civic. neighbors CR-V. i do believe there may be something wrong with the sensor.
