Twice I've had to take the van in first time the service Sept had it allllll day just to tell me they reset it. Ok... next day it is stalling again at red lights, idling in traffic. It puts the van into park and does. It also sounds rough when I have to restart the van. Again they had to keep I alll night this time because they couldn't figure it out.
tuens out it's the battery.... $730 later.... ugh

 

Auto repair shops tends to follow customer's lead on problems they think their cars may have.
And, they are willing to try anything as long as customer is willing to pay
You see, they get paid whether the problem is fixed or not.
And since it was customer's idea to start with, ....
And since the customer gave the okay to do the work, ....
I truly hope your battery was the only issue and it is solved
Fingers crossed it will last for a long while

 

I'm not sure what you are meaning, I don't "think" there's a problem, I know there's a problem.
they don't know what they are doing. the problem is not fixed, the car died on me again today in rush hour traffic.
min super upset it said in the paperwork they had to call Honda Canada engineers and they are the ones who said check the battery, battery was then tested it was going down to 6.92 volts when the idle stop was on and car was trying to start.

You make it sound like a new battery fixed your problem. It still has problems?

 

Yes it is still shifting into park and shutting off while idling at red lights when the feature is on.
