sliding door wont work manually- dealer says it needs new door motor?

sliding door wont work manually- dealer says it needs new door motor?

tried all the suggestions- I dont trust the dealer-I have a 2018 Honda Odyssey with sliding door that wont work on manual, or motor. Door latches and cables replaced in 2020 under recall. It opens only 8 inches on either. Honda dealership says it needs a sliding door motor, but I dont think thats it . Wouldn't it work on the manual position? Or am I wrong. I dont need it motorized, just want the door to open. Already paid 200 for diagnostic- they didnt give me computer printout stating its the door motor either.

Do a reset of the door. Pull the fuse. It needs to learn full open and full close again. They always try and sell a new motor when they lose their memory.
