Stuck Gas Flap - Can’t Fuel Car
All-
My gas cap is stuck. It seems to attempt to unlock and open, but I think the actuator pin is not moving. Since the vehicle is new to me, I’m not sure how the mechanism is constructed, nor how I can successfully open it without damaging the flap. I know in some Honda’s there are emergency levers in the trunk. Is there any such thing for the Odyssey? Any tips, as we are nearly out of fuel? Thx!!

Is the gas cap stuck or is the gas door stuck?
If it is the gas cap then push down on the cap while turning
If it is the fuel door then there is access thru the back.
When you get to the cable, turn the release pin and it should pop out.

Thanks for the reply! It is the exterior, painted fuel door. Where can I find the access point in the back? This is a 2018, and on the fuel side (drivers) the only removable panel I found in the trunk contained a small fuse panel and there weren’t any wires inside of it. On the passenger side there was another little panel that has the empty funnel, but no cables. There were two other small panels on the driver's side rear (one had a philips screw, the other had nothing, and both appeared to be securing the plastic trim that runs from the floor to about halfway up the side wall). Any ideas where I can find the cable/release? Didn’t look like anything removable along the wall of the third row seats either. I've tried finding the location and/or this problem on YT, other Honda Forums, in the Owner's manual, and on Honda.com. I can't seem to find anything related to this wire in the 2018+ Odyssey, only in previous generations, and other Honda Models (Civic/Accord/etc). Thanks in advance!

The 2018 Odyssey only requires you to push on the fuel door and release it.
The door should open automatically.
If it is giving you trouble then sorry, but I do not know this vehicle well enough to help.
The video should help you understand how that mechanism works
