Default Hypothetical Recall Question (Rust steering subframe issue)

A recall was done on my car before I purchased it eight years ago. Now I have learned that my vehicle will cost over two thousand to properly repair it. I have reason to suspect the recall was not done correctly and corners were cut to save the manufacturer money. My opinion is car would have been fine now if recall was done correctly. My questions are:

1. Other than litigation can I obtain the specific detailed repair records done on recall?
2. After recall has been "fixed", the recall on that individual car is officially closed. Is present owner entitled to a 2nd free inspection eight years later or is there a customary $180 charge for it?
3. Does a present owner of car with past recall have any limited rights regarding a past recall ?
4.Any recall lawyers in here?

welcome to the forum. only suggestion i can give is to get a hold of american honda and open up a file with the same questions you are asking on this forum, perhaps they can inform you better, or have the recall done properly again if done at all.
