MM on my 2019 Pilot EXL just told me I need to replace brake fluid (service item #7). But the car is only 2 years old with 15K miles. The maintenance schedule I have says replace brake fluid at 3 years or 45K miles. Why am I getting this reminder so early? Checked brake fluid level and it is good, so don't think low fluid would have triggered MM.

 

brake fluids are normally change each 2 years. they seem to collect moisture in the system. being your car is under warranty, it would be a good idea to call the service dept mgr and ask why so early per maintenance schedule.
