I have a 2016 Pilot with the navigation system and have started using CarPlay. I’ve noticed that if I’m running a GPS app like maps, whenever I make a right turn the screen switches to the turn camera (expected) but when it comes back it switches to the music app, or sometimes, something else entirely. I’m wondering if I’m missing something and there is a way to get it to return to the navigation app instead of changing. Has anyone else observed this behavior?

 

welcome to the forum. i don't know how to fix it myself, but it seems a lot of pilots are having this type of problem. if no one gives you a "fix" answer, take it to the dealer and they may have to reprogram the nav/radio
