My 2014 Pilot started displaying the wrench with code A and oil life 15% so I changed the oil and decided to change the filter as well. I've followed the manual to reset the oil life but it's not resetting to 100 it just blinks 15%

Step 1. key turned to ||

2. Press and hold the button for 10-15 seconds until the display blinks Oil life

3. Release the button

4. Press and hold the button again for 5 seconds until it resets to 100%

Step 4 is where it's just not doing this I'm holding far longer than 5 seconds and it never changes from 15% to 100%. Anyone have this issue before and if so how did you resolve it? I've tried googling but all I get is the steps to reset which I've already done.
