Default Is this quote from Honda gouging???

My wife has a 2010 Pilot. The dealer says the "engine cooling hoses", not the water pump or radiator or thermostat... just the hoses need to
be replaced due to "age". Cost: $1250.00 This seems.... excessive.

Comments?

The dealer said it was because of "age". It's a 2010 with 105000 miles. I think, personally, that it's a scam. No leaks, no overheating, no issues. Scam. Declined the "throttle body cleaning" as well. Just wanted verification that I'm not out of my mind. Even if there was an issue, $1250 is b.s.

Be sure to spend the extra $250 to have them top off your blinker fluid too.
