I have a 2007 honda pilot 4x4 with almost 150k miles. When I start the ignition it's a hard start meaning the engine is shakey and it seems like it's going to stall. If step on the gas pedal a couple of times it's okay, but you can smell gas when the windows are rolled down. It seems to drive fine with no issues but the engine light comes on and sometimes the VTM light too.

The radiator was replaced 6 months ago.

Timing belt and other belts were replaced about a year ago.

I just changed out the spake plugs and all 6 ignition coils. (advanced auto ran a engine code check and saw misfirings so i replaced these). I thought this was it but it still persists. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

welcome to the forum. check the icu, may need cleaning.
