Default Turning off interior lights

Hi everyone. My wife and I decided to try camping using our 09 Pilot as our camper! Why not, I use it for just about everything else! So I bought a “tent” attachment that fits over the open rear door. Some of you may have tried this. When we did our first dry run I realized the ceiling lights and front overhead console lights remained on. We messed with this fir 10-15 minutes and lights stayed in as long as the cargo door was open. Anyone know how to turn these lights off? I don’t know if a switch so maybe a relay or fuse? Thanks for your help!

welcome to the fourm. on my HR-V after opening the back hatch, i turn off the back cargo light with the switch and turn off the dome lights with the interior / instrument light. all dark, if we need light in the back hatch/tent area i just turn on the cargo light.

Thank you! Unfortunately the Pilot does not have a light switch for what I now know to be map lights over the driver (2) and the 2nd and 3rd row of seats. I did find a solution tho. Fuse #22 in the main under hood fuse box controls the automatic interior lights. Not a great plan to frequently pull fuses, but for then occasional camping trip this worked.
