my first prelude...have ???????
Hey guys!....so im new this hole forum thing,and sorry to ask such stupid ??? but i jus got a 00 prelude and was wondering if it is supposed to rev so high in fith gear(when im doin 65-70 it revs at like 4000)...or is 4000 for a hondalike2300-3000 for a ford??? Again sorry for askinsuch a dumb ????? thanks

welcome to the forum.Nothing is stupid. Questions asked are to learn. The prelude does rev high, most honda's automatic will rev to 6k for the top end of the shift. It will go into the red if you have a 5/6 speed, and not careful. Most hondas now have a rev limiter so to not blow your engine apart. Yes big engines have lots of torque, lower rpm. High rpm normally have low torque.( smaller engines )
