Default 17' Ridgeline keyless ignition batteries

I had a message on the dash that the key-less ignition battery was low. I found a you-tube video on how too change the battery and also what size too use. I fitted a new 2032 battery and it would not work. I took the battery from the spare that had been hanging up and it worked until today when I got another message low battery. I fitted a new battery in the the spare and it also will not work. I did buy another couple of new 2032's and they will not work.

Am I missing something here like wrong size batteries. I could find nothing in the owners manual about changing the batteries just how to use the key-less apparatus.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Were the new batteries put in correctly??
The battery does have a polarity.
Check battery voltage level
Also, some key fobs need proper alignment when putting the two halves back together or they will not work
