How much A/C compressor oil?
I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. I have evacuated the A/C system and now need to recharge it. I have the proper PAG 46 oil, but I can't find anywhere that tells how much oil needs to be added. Can anyone help with getting this info?

Research says, ...
Usually total oil is about 4oz
But, when changing components,
Compressor.........1.4 oz
Condenser...........1.0 oz
Evaporator...........1.5 oz
Accumulator.........1.0 oz
Hoses...................1.0 oz
But, don't listen to me.
Find out from our resident ACmech52
Do not over fill
And do not under fill
Either can cause failure of AC

per Austin Baker Industries Inc. oil and refrigerant capacities show 06-07 ridgeline uses 9 oz of pag46, 23oz of 134a. if you can obtain a service manual, it will assist you the best. this is for a complete evac and recharge. 2014 ABI catalog
