I just bought a new battery for my 2012 NC700XA from Canadian Tire. The terminal hook up is totally different. With the original Jausa (sp?) battery the bolts screwed right into the hole attached to the battery. With this new one it seems that a nut is required. However, I can’t maneuver the nut into place as there is no opening big enough. Anyone else run into this problem? Will try to provide pics tomorrow.

 

Welcome in ,it's hard to understand without pics,but if it were me I would take it back and get one designed for your car and let them install it rather then jury rig something up. Good luck.
