Rim & Tire Size for Winter Tire Set on Accord Coupe
Hi. What I need guidance on:
2017 Accord Coupe EX/L Model with V6. I am looking at (finally) purchasing Winter Tires and rims (Just Tires will store them for $100 per year).
This vehicle has 18 inch wheels and tires. Specific size is: 235/45R18 (currently Michelin originals).
Just Tires is telling me to SAVE MONEY and for BETTER PERFORMANCE, use 17 inch (and that 18 is way more money...). Honda Owners manual says ONLY USE ORIGINAL SIZE.
Just Tires propose using inexpensive alloy wheels (Sport Edition Alloy 17") with Bridgestone SL Blizzak winter tires. Just Tires says it won't mess up any of the systems (???)
Anyone have experience with this or any guidance would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
