09 CRV .. VSA & 83-1/Permanent DTC Code
09 CRV VSA & 83-1/Permanent DTC Code..
Traveling on a curve in the road the engine & VSA lights came on.
Checked for codes and found:
> P264/$1 8D, AF111 .... A Rocker Arm Actuator System Stuck On Bank 1
> 83-1/Permanent DTC .... FSM62
It now studders occasional on accelerating in low gears.
Any ideas on what it could be would be appreciated.

Googled 83-1 DTC, ...
Code 83-1 set in the ABS system means
that the ABS system has been disabled due to an engine related system failure.
In this case Code P2101 being set in the Engine computer (PCM) relating
to the electronic throttle actuator has disabled the ABS system
and set a code 83-1 to inform you of that.
Service manual says communication error with PCM.
Would has assistant turn key off and on while you wiggle the connector on the ABS modulator
And check for the VSA light to go off
Reason is pin fitment or connector loose
