I'm hoping someone can educate me. I lost one of the "Magic Start" fobs that disables the security device in order to start the vehicle. It was a dealer installed item when I purchased the vehicle new in 2005.
The company is now out of business and so after recently losing my spare key and fob during a move I'm paranoid about losing the existing fob. The FOB has some type of RFD chip in it.




Does anyone have any information on how to remove the system? I can't find any info online as to a wiring schematic, etc.

I'd like to remove it since I can't get a backup FOB.
