Default 2006 V-TEC problems?

Hi folks, nubie here having severe trouble with my 2006 Honda CR-V AWD with 230,000 miles on it. I think that my problem is somehow connected to the V-TEC. Here’s what’s going on. The car “bucked” and “stuttered” horribly and the engine light came on. Using my BlueDriver I found 3 codes: a bad #1 coil (P0301), VTC advance malfunction (P1009), or knock sensor (P0325). So, all the coils got replaced along with the knock sensor. Didn’t help, so I replaced the V-TEC (I believe that VTC is the V-TEC solenoid). Still didn’t help! Before I replaced the V-TEC, the car still threw the same codes but would run better the warmer it got – that doesn’t seem to be happening with the new V-TEC (genuine Honda). If I put the car in neutral, it idles and revs up fine; however, shifting into gear and I’m lucky to get it in the garage it stutters so bad. The oil & filter got changed also. The V-TEC filter in the replaced V-TEC did not appear to be clogged. And, should it possibly matter, I recently changed the transmission oil also. So, does anyone have any ideas as to what the heck is going on here?

thanks in advance

Hello.
Had same issue on 2006 V a fre months ago. Theres a small filter screen that i changed on mine. That did the trick. It's located on the front of engine. Let me see if i can attach a picture of it. The screen is not expensive but to get to is a small chore. Few vids online helped.

Forgot to mention that I also changed the Valve Assembly on mine. The screen was blocked and broken as well. Hope it helps.

I do not know for sure but have seen two V-tec solenoids. The one shown in the previous post and another on the back side of the engine. The one shown is the intake and there is one on the exhaust?? Both have oil screens, They do get clogged and create all sorts of issues.
