Hi, I am not sure what is going on with my vehicle or if they are even linked. Here are the issues. It was bought used in 2018 & it currently has 65,000 miles on it.

1. About 6 months after I got it when I would press the volume up for the radio on the steering wheel it would intermittently change stations or skip songs.

2. At the same time as 1 if I pressed the down volume on the steering wheel the volume would shoot up.

3. About a month ago the main “key” (it’s button start) would unlock the doors after I had pressed the button on the door handle to lock them. It would also do it if I had the spare with me & used it to lock the doors.

4. This morning I got in my car & went to crank it as usual & it would not start. All of the dash lights came on, headlights came on, & regular dinging noises were made.

The only modifications I have made were I replaced the headlights with HID lights. They were installed professionally about a year ago.

 

Have you had the battery load tested? A faulty battery can cause many of these issues.
