Default 2018 CRV Battery total dead how to open door and trunk

Hi,

I have 2018 Honda CRV EX-L.

It also has power tailgate option.

Can not open door at all, battery totally dead.

Remote does not work.

Manual key also does not open any door.

I can not open the hood, without releasing hood button which is inside (doors all locked).

Question 1: how I can open power tailgate/trunk door?

(so I can crawl inside and pull hood release button.

Is tailgate has manual key option to open tailgate/trunk

Unless I open the hood, can not replac/recharge battery.

Please help.

One of the suggestions from the linked article was that you must "be able to put on candles your Honda CR V and access the electrical cables through the motor shoe of it."

Huh??
.

I was able to open driver door with manual key. Yesterday was not able to open manually. I tried just now and after several try it did open with manual key. This is first time in four year, I opened manually. Now I will try few times a year to open with manual key.

The same link cited above (that says to put on candles your CRV) says, "To open the door of your Honda CR V that has no more battery, you will have toturn the key in the lock and simultaneously try to pull the door handle ." Maybe the simultaneity is the trick.

wondering if that might have been written by a person in europe. they talk odd. like a torch is a flashlight or a battery is a storage container.
