Did you see Purple Frog's fix?

Went to "Driver Assist System Setup" in the Vehicle Setup section. Reset the settings.

Fixed it.

 

Had same steering issue with my 2019 CRV. Went to the settings and set to default - smooth steering returned.

I also had the same issue and want to thank Purple Frog for posting the solution. After about one year of driving after the fix the notchy steering came back and I did the reset and it seems fine again. I’m wondering has anyone with this problem been able to identify what is making it happen? I would like to get it repaired so that it does not happen in future. I also worry about the next owner having to deal with it. I took the car to the dealership and they could not find a problem. I should add my car is a 2018 CRV EX that has the Honda sensing package.
