QUESTION: I own a 2017 CRV 30K miles; transmission fluid grade or type: Manual specifies "HCF Only". Can I use AMSOIL Synthetic regular AT Fluid?

 

since your vehicle is out of warranty, you can use anything you wish. my advise would be to use Honda only transmission oil. Honda has made their own transmission fluid unlike after markets ( which are very good fluids to use ) Honda made their trans fluid to not foam as regular/aftermarket trans fluids do to help clean the transmission,.
