Default Cap in center of headliner - for an antenna?

I just purchased a 2006 CRV, and want to install a ham radio antenna on the center of the roof. There is a plastic cap inside the car in the middle of the ceiling, right about the center of the rear seat. I can easily remove it with a screwdriver, and can see some mounting hardware up there which looks like it might be for an antenna installation. I'm not talking about the antenna cap at the rear of the roof, this is in the center. Does anyone know what this is for, and how to utilize it for a roof antenna mount? Thanks.

I think you might be right. There is a wire and connector up there, and a mounting bracket. Thanks.
