ok so we have a 1997 honda crv. we replaced the radiator and the thermastat and some other things. well the car still gets hot quick. oh ya and we had to replace the fan motorbecause they were fried. what else do we need to do. i dont believe the fans are working is there a switch of some sort.

How many miles do you have on your CRV? Have you replaced the Water Pump? Are the electric fans switching on intermittantly while at idle when the vehicle has achieved operating temperature? Have you replaced the radiator cap?

To check coolant circulation: Start thevehicle and let it obtain operating temperature (180 degrees Fahrenheit), check to see if coolant if passing though the top radiator hose (by squeezing on the hose with your hand).

Good luck! Let me know what you identify as the problem.
