hmm...
my 93 lx is rock solid when it comes to cooling. i had a leaky cap that i didn't know about and it still ran cool. you do know that you replace your water pump every time you do your timing belt.. right... other than that the radiator was replaced on mine once in it's entire life because i got a hole from a stupid rock in the freeway.. other than that it's rock solid.. oh.. you do know that you need to flush and refill your coolant every 3 to 5 years depending on the type of coolant you're running.. right..

The new thermostast may be bad or installed upside down, the cap may not hold pressure, check those first,if still not cooling the radiator may need cleanning by a professional.

You can flush your your own system, check your owners manual for capacity and do a 50 50 mix, then bleed the air from the system, not sure where the bleed screw is on your model but the manual should have the placement.
