Default over heating b18

I HAVE A 95 EX COUPE W/ A 96 OBD2 GSR B18 IN IT I JUST REPLACED THE RAD BECAUSE OLD 1 CRACKED AND NOW THE MOTOR OVER HEATS IN LIKE 4 MIN.'S I TRYED LETTING THE HEAT RUN WITH RAD OPEN TO TAKE IN WATER BUT IT IS FULL ANY BODY ELSE HAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS!!!!!

With the current engine, did the rad that crack work ok, just trying to narrow down if it is the new rad or engine.
The rad you replaced, is it a new one or good used, or overhauled. Did you try to run water from the top to see the flow at the opposite end, before you installed it.
It could be the thermostat, cooling fan, could be an airpocket in the water system that needs bleeding.

i am going to try to bleed it because it was running fine before just hpoeing i didn't worp the headwhen it over heated or the water pump but thanx for the responce and ideas!!!
