On my wife's 2000 CRV, all the windows work perfectly, except that the driver's side window no longer automatically rolls all the way down when you hold the switch down for a moment. Any ideas on what controls that automatic roll down function?

 

If the window works fine, but only the auto-down stopped working, it's probably just the master switch.

In my car though, the auto-down isn't triggered by holding the switch for a second, but by pressing it down past the first stop to the very bottom of the switch's travel.

If you're driving multiple cars with different power window systems, I would try pushing the switch all the way down, in case you're remembering the operation of a different car instead.

If that doesn't work, it would be the switch that is to blame.
