Default Engine crank. No start

Hi. I am new to the site. I have a 2019 crv lx. The battery has drained completely. I installed a charger until the battery was charged enough. When I try to start, the engine runs but does not start. Looks like the theft-deterrent system doesn't recognize my key. I have checked the key's battery and it is good. Has anyone had this problem or knows how to reset the theft-deterrent system?

welcome to the forum. being that your car is under warranty 2019 i would highly recommend you call the dealership and ask them to have the car towed to the dealership to get it fixed.

Is this a smart key push to start vehicle?
Or, is this a key in the ignition type?

Do you see the green key light when you try to start the engine?
The vehicle may need to be re-programmed to the key
Unfortunately I do not know how.

It’s a smart key push to start vehicle. The green key light on the cluster is on when i try to start. I had this dead battery situation couple of time last winter. I use to jump start the battery and it was ok but this time the engine crank but no start.

Push to start is out of my knowledge base.
Best to call dealer service and ask if the car needs to be re-programmed to key??
