Default No power when car is trying to start 2007 accord ex

No power when trying to start 2007 accord ex seems like battery is dead but its a brand new battery and had it checked took starter out and also had it checked there both good. When you try to start the car it will turn over very little then just click and then seems like the battery is dead this is even on a charger I dont have any other idea what it could be....any ideas please help

welcome to the forum. when the battery was checked was a load test done. how new is your battery. take the spark plugs out and see if you can turn your engine by hand or using a wrench. have you had any engine problems, when did this hard start begin. need a bit more info to determine what might be the problem. when you try to start the engine with the head lights on, does the lights dim low fast or stay fairly bright. clean all the terminals using a wire brush, and the ground to engine block.

To see if bad ground
Take a test light and put clip on battery ground.
Take probe tip and touch engine block.
Crank engine and see if test light glows

If the battery and starter are good then what else is in the circuit?
Cable terminals?? Maybe they need to be cleaned to remove any electrical resistance?
Oh, how about cleaning the electrical grounds. Follow battery negative post to chassis and clean the bolt and chassis.
