Default Gear shift button

I have a 2017 crv and the gear shift button cracked. Apparently it is a known issue that Honda refuses to recognize. Anyone else have this issue?

welcome to the forum. 2017 still under warranty and they don't want to fix the cracked button. have you tried getting a hold of American Honda and ask them to help.

it will not hurt to ask, and 200 past warranty is not much. make sure they know you are a gentle driver and the button only has been under a woman's touch. also if you trade it in to the Honda dealership for a new cr-v you don't want the dealership to have a flawed gear shift..

I really don't see any other option other than American Honda.

Yep, mine just broke off this morning on my 2017 CR-V. It’s still under the 36k warranty, they didn’t give me a hard time and are fixing it Monday. I honestly do not love my CR-V and I hate that. I still miss my 2005 Honda Accord if it wasn’t for needing the suv features I would 100% be back in an Accord. I’ve already had a battery go bad on this car too about a month ago and and it’s starting to feel a little sluggish startinf again. I never had the first problem with my Accord until it was much older.
