How to replace plastic trim underneath the door handle?
I purchased Honda CRV 2024 EX-L. I noticed that the black plastic trim underneath the door handle is not flush with the handle. It is only on two handles of the right doors. You can see it sticks out and when you pull the handle it pulls the plastic slightly. Besides the aesthetic problem, I'm afraid that one day the plastic might break. The Honda dealership ordered new ones and I have to come to them to fix them for free. My concern is that they might take the whole door apart and the car won't be "new" anymore.
I wonder if anyone knows if the entire inside of the door needs to be taken apart to get to that plastic handle to fix it?
Should I worry or should I just let them do it as it's simple work and dealership cannot break anything?

you might try getting a hold of a service manual for your car, it will show you how to repair and service your vehicle. I get one for every honda i get and have saved a lot . What I cannot handle I take to a reputable shop that knows hondas to repair using OEM parts always.
