Default ignition issue

ignition key can be removed when I shut off still in gear. I had replaced the ignition switch just 2 years and now the same problem.
2005 crv. Any words of wisdom besides replacing again?

There is a switch in the gear selector to tell it whether it is in park or not.
This sends a signal to the ignition whether to release the key or not
Check wiring and see if there is correct voltage at proper times

I have done that. I find there is some issue with what holds key in. Also when I start the key does not spring back slightly also causing gear selector to stay in park. Once you slightly move it back it will go into gear. The holding relay or circuitry has failed .

That sounds like the whole ignition lock needs to be replaced??? Or it could be just the ignition switch??? Hard to say. But, the key not springing back after cranking engine says it might be the ignition switch. But you say you have replaced it already. Anyway, sounds like you know what you are doing. Good luck.
