Default Serpentine Belt Slipped off

Hello! I'm 25 with minimal car experience. But here is what I know:

My 2007 CRV had its serpentine belt slip off this morning when we started the car. For some more details, it was fraying up a month back so we changed it once already. I suspected it did that because I have a power steering leak as well, been replacing the fluid every week.

The leak started about a year ago, me and a buddy changed the alternator and the power steering was fine before. After we fixed everything a couple days later I'm out of fluid. Ever since then we've had to refill it on occasion.

So my guess is, the leak is somehow causing the serpentine to come off and wear it down with the fluid some how. I mean its caked up on that side. I checked all the pulleys, there is no odd sounds, squeals, they spin fine and no wobble.

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I suggest you find a nearby retired geezer like me and ask for help.

I doubt he(or she) would pass on the opportunity to share their experience.

Step one: Fix the leak.

If it's fraying that is NOT because of the leak. You may have an alignment problem with the pulleys or possibly bad tensioner.
