Default Starter or Alternator or Something else,

Wife has a 17 CRV and it's been having intermittent starting issues. Sometimes it wont start and click, sometimes it hesitates to start, sometimes starts with no issues. Battery is fine it's been tested. Starter tested fine at Auto zone but I am figuring if the issue doesn't happen while testing it wont read anything. I was thinking starter but one odd thing is that the hatch won't open by pushing the hatch button on the hatch or from the key fob until the car starts. The low battery on the fob isn't coming on the dash like when the key fob is dying. Now that I am typing this I am wondering if the Battery in the fob is weak and not getting a good signal?

Anyone of the mechanics or gurus out there have ideas?

Let's work on the no start. I would start by looking at the relay. You mention a click.

I have had Autozone test battery and say it was good and the same symptoms as yours I used a voltmeter to see if alternator was putting out the correct voltage ( it was ) so I told them to change the battery anyway and problem solved. If no voltmeter you need them to check the alternator and if ok, change the battery

When the relay clicks only I would swap it with another and see what you get.
