Hi all, I've put a little over 1k on my new (to me) CR-V, and I've been noticing that the tranny is leaking a small amount of oil. It doesn't seem to be enough to cause a problem, but it is enough to make the bottom of the case wet after a day or so of driving.

My mechanic says this is common among older CR-Vs, and the only way to fix it is to take the case apart and re-seal it.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone fixed it? Can you tell me how you did?

My car is a 98 CR-V EX AWD 4spd Auto.
