2004 Element lift gate wiring harness connector location

Where is the other end of the lift gate wiring harness connector?
I've looked in the spare tire compartment and under the vehicle.
I can't find the end.

welcome to the forum. have you tried looking behind the interior left rear panel around the left tail light area .

No I haven't is that where it is at?
I'm going to a u-pull it tomorrow and needs to know where it is located before I try to remove the lift gate.

not positive, but u-pull may tie into your tail light from behind the interior left side panel.
