Howdy Y'all -

Q1 - how to get the upper console lights (above the rear view mirror) to come on when either driver or passenger doors are opened ? Currently this does not occur, has never occurred (bought the vehicle used).

Q2 - Ive never driven a vehicle that DIDNT have a dome light, is this correct or was mine somehow removed ? My definition of dome light is - center area of the interior roof of the car (not above the rear view mirror)

correct those are called map lights not a dome light dome is in the middle. im not certain if those are suppose to turn on with the door open there should be a switch or you press the lights in themselves ???. if they don't work at all check the fuse and bulbs.

 

There sould be a switch,try the reostat switch to see if they have been dimmed but then the dash lights would be too.pull a buld and see if its blown.
