Default 1998 Civic: Is there a simple mod to keep the headlights on while engine is running?

For safety reasons, I'd like this car to have headlights and tail lights on when the engine is running, and shut them off automatically when the engine is off and I leave the car. Is there a simple wiring mod for this? Like moving one wire?

Buy a basic 4 wire relay.

Connect it to 12v, another wire to the igniton 'hot', another wire to a ground, and the fourth wire to the headlight low beams wire at the headlight switch.

I can draw the wiring diagram for you, but wiring instructions should be in the relay box.

With this relay installed your low beams will be on whenever the engine is running.
