Do you change your own oil?

nope , I let the dealer do it especially when vehicle is under warranty so that way if they find some issues then I can get it fixed under warranty.

I enjoy changing my own oil,and I'm 67 . Although my 2000 Accord is the biggest challenge because of the filter location,when trying to get it out , the angle needed for removal cause spilt oil every time.

Congrats man, I hope I am able to do that when (if) I get to 67. I haven't had that problem with my '02 Accord 4 cylinder though......I usually keep the oil in the filter during the change but I wish the filter was vertically screwed on.

I change my own oil. I'm 75 years old and a lifetime car nut. I use Mobil1 or Mobile1 extended 0-20 in my CR-V.

they make a Teflon washer for that,or just buy a new plug that cuts new threads.
