hi guys new member here ive been on with a bit of a resto homemade vw project and as i dint know mutch if anything regards these holset turbos other then suposed to be decent for boost , i bought a hx40 with t3 18 hotside ,, with a wastegate fitted ,,, as im from the uk ive been trying to locate a smaller hot side , as evern thow i made a pulse manifold , due to the sise of this this is not coming into boost until 4500rpm ,which is no good , im possibley after any info of a smaller houseing ie 14 t3 which will be a diect bolt on to my turbo ,, really hope some of you can help ,, as until i basicly find or buy one when i get to know the info ineed ,then i can carry on with the project , ps do these holsets need a oil restriction feed as well ,due it been fitted on my 24v v6 engine ,, any help advise and spec ,, would be mutch appericated
