Test driving new/used car without salesman going along
I'm considering a new Accord or possibly 1-2 year used Accord.
When I take a test drive I find the salesman to be distracting.
I prefer to test drive without anyone else coming along.
Of course I can just ask, but I'd like to know any specific strategies that improve my chances that a dealer would do this.

If you sign a contract or leave the cashiers check or your car worth more than the car you are buying with the pink. You can drive any car off the lot you want without a dealer sales person. The sales person helping you gets stuck with the bill if you put a ding on the new car or don't come back. Happens all the time.

i would ask the sales person to exit the vehicle to check the tires then when there out of the car floor the gas petal and do a burn out while simultaneously screaming ''see you later alligator'' then just enjoy your stress free joy ride. actually returning the vehicle at this point is entirely optional.
