Are the Vehicle Service Contracts worth the cost? I can see where it would offer peace of mind for required maintenance.

 

welcome to the forum. it depends on what is covered in the contract. if i knew nothing about fixing cars and call AAA to change my tire, i would pay for the service contract for engine and drive train. some cover brakes system complete some don't normal ware and tare like wiper blades tires are not covered under the car warranty. need to read the contract and ask what it covers. only warranty i paid for was the 100k mile on my work cars from honda. i did not want to touch the car for the first 100k, then after that i did all my own work or had a good shop do the i can not handle the work jobs.
